Why Is It Good To Shop At Pawn Shops?
Pawn Shops even from way back in the middle ages were a crucial part of the buying, bartering and loan systems. Enabling people to find or trade new and used goods in a venue that otherwise wouldn’t have been as openly available to them. Another aforementioned use of pawn shops was and still is their collateral loan system. A fabulous example of this was with Christopher Columbus who’s famous journey was funded by Queen Isabella pawning the crown jewels. The largest pawn shop in that day was know as the House of Lombard. Its logo featured three golden balls, those three balls are still being associated with pawn shops today. As you will notice even we here at Cedar Post Pawn in St. George, Utah have three golden balls in our logo!
